Program Information

Discover the magic of theater with Tacoma Musical Playhouse, Voyager PTA, and the Chelsea Paige Foundation!

 

Our program focuses on building confidence, fostering teamwork, sparking creativity, and, most importantly, having fun! Whether your child is already passionate about singing, dancing, and acting or is looking for a positive environment to explore their talents and make new friends, our theater skills program is the perfect fit.

Registrations are accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis, and all registered participants will have the opportunity to attend an audition and be placed in a role. 

 

Watch your child grow in both skills and confidence as they embark on a thrilling journey through rehearsals every Monday and Wednesday after school until 5:30pm.

Terms & Conditions

Registration and Tuition Payment

  • Parents/guardians must complete the registration process to enroll their child in the children's theater program.

  • Tuition fees must be paid in full at the time of registration, and no student will be considered enrolled until payment is received.

Refund Policy

  • Cancellations made 29 days or more before the program start date will be eligible for a 100% refund of the tuition paid, less a processing fee.

  • Cancellations made 8-28 days before the program start date will be eligible for a 50% refund of the tuition paid.

  • Cancellations made 0-7 days before the program start date are not eligible for any refund.

Processing Fee

  • A processing fee will be applied to all refunds to cover administrative costs. The processing fee amount will be communicated at the time of registration.

Withdrawal Procedure

  • To initiate a cancellation and request a refund, parents/guardians must notify the program coordinator in writing or via email at voyagerelementarypta@gmail.com

  • Refunds will be processed within a reasonable time frame after the written notification is received.

Program Changes and Cancellations

  • The PTA reserves the right to make changes to the program schedule, curriculum, or instructors if necessary.

  • In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the school may cancel the children's theater program. In such cases, a full refund will be issued to registered participants.

Attendance and Participation

  • Regular attendance is expected from all enrolled students.

  • Parents/guardians are encouraged to communicate with program staff in case of any anticipated absences.

Code of Conduct

  • Students are expected to adhere to the Voyager code of conduct that promotes a positive and inclusive learning environment. Any disruptive behavior may result in a student's dismissal from the program without a refund.

Photography and Publicity

  • The school may capture photographs or videos during the children's theater program for promotional purposes. Parents/guardians who do not wish their child to be included in such materials must inform the program coordinator in writing.

Emergency Contact Information

  • Parents/guardians must provide accurate emergency contact information at the time of registration. In case of an emergency, the school will make every effort to contact parents/guardians or the designated emergency contact.

Dismissal Policy

  • For the safety and well-being of the students, they will only be dismissed to the person listed on the official registration form.

  • In the event that a parent/guardian wishes to make a change to the dismissal arrangement, they must notify the program coordinator via email as soon as possible.

  • Parents/guardians are urged to communicate any changes promptly to ensure a smooth dismissal process.

 

By enrolling in the theater program, parents/guardians acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to abide by these terms and conditions. The PTA reserves the right to update or modify these terms as needed, and any changes will be communicated to enrolled participants in a timely manner.

Performance Dates

Parent Liaison Needed

We are seeking a dedicated Parent Liaison for our upcoming theater program! As a vital part of our team, you'll play a key role in ensuring smooth dismissals for our talented young performers.

 

Your responsibilities will include managing student dismissals, acting as the point of contact for any dismissal changes, and reaching out to parents/guardians if students need to leave early.

Your role is crucial, ensuring a seamless transition for our young stars as they conclude their practices. Plus, the PTA is here to offer support every step of the way!

If you're passionate about the arts, love working with children, and want to contribute to an unforgettable experience, join us as a Parent Liaison. 

**If a parent volunteer signs up to cover every rehearsal we will waive the registration fee for one(1) of their students**
